The original Boulder Flatiron cam was started in 2009 after a homeowner with a great view thought it sounded like a fun idea.  Later that year we added the timelapse feature and have daily images for most days over the last ten years.

In 2012 the Superior cam was added with a little better view of the northern front range and Longs Peak.  Superior has a daily image archive going back to 2012.   Most recently in 2014 the downtown Boulder camera was added for a close up view of the flatirons. 

The images have been featured on local and national TV stations including Fox 31 KDVR, 7news and the Today Show.  If you would like to use an image from the site, please give attribution to boulderflatironcam.com
